The senior accountant will be responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures, compliance with all financial policies, month end reporting, and statutory requirements.
This role will provide on-going financial support and system development for the company.
We require applications with accounting degree or equivalent, knowledge of accepted accounting, auditing, and economic practices and principles, knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations, and knowledge and experience of the Sage Accounting System.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience in the management of financial systems and budgets, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing, taxation and providing financial advice.
The person must have an eye for detail and accuracy, strong communication skills, good judgment, problem analysis and problem-solving skills and high stress tolerance levels
Technical Operator – Extruder Machine
The successful candidates will be responsible for all the electrical and mechanical processes of start up and running mode settings of extruder machine including but not limited to mounting, dismounting and cleaning of extruder parts, pressure systems and dryers; material loading and output parameter control; establishment of process parameters and conditions; and monitoring and controlling the machine operations by adjusting, isolating, and trouble shooting of electrical parameters.
We require applicants with a minimum experience of 5 years in operating an extruder machine and with practical exposure to PLCs, power systems; electrical energy uses (heating, drives etc).
In addition, you must be in possession of a diploma in mechanical engineering – plant option / electrical engineering – power option. Basic appreciation of GMP, Hygiene and experience working in an ISO certified company is a pre-requisite.
Export Sales Manager
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and developing and managing client relationship for both confirmed and potential customers.
He/she will oversee sales targets in the export market, monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts, review reports submitted by sales staff to recommend approval or to suggest changes, review operational records and report to project sales and determine profitability, identify new business opportunities, maintain good working relationships with own client base to further grow business opportunities, identifying new international customers and markets for products; contracting with international distributors; monitoring processes; forecasting requirements and profits for each product and international market.
We require applicants with a minimum 5 years experience in Export Sales & Marketing in FMCG, good knowledge of export documents, Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Sales and Marketing, strong analytical and planning skills, with business sense and marketing strategy skills.
The job holder will be responsible for managing overall activities of sales/marketing department while ensuring that the sales/revenue targets are met.
This will include preparation of annual business and periodic sales/activity plans, drawing and implementing marketing strategies, evaluating and analyzing prevailing market conditions and drawing up appropriate strategies, preparing and submitting periodic reports, managing overall activities of customer service and distribution, liaising with the production department for to avoid stock outs, preparing budget and sales projections.
The Marketing manager will organize, motivate and lead sales teams in the respective regions represented.
We require applicants with a University Degree in Sales Marketing or its equivalent, minimum of 5 years of sales management of a distributed sales organization in FMCG excellent communication skills, essential skills in managing distributors, sales planning and implementation, market research, business development and profitability improvement strategies.
Area Sales Managers
(1 Coast region, 1 Central region, 1 Rift Valley, 1 Nyanza)
The area sales manager must have good geographical knowledge and residential status in the respective regions. He/she will be responsible for the sourcing of new business and managing continuous sales.
Duties will include, but not limited to executing a strategy to generate business through local relationships, networking and developing a portfolio of key accounts to produce revenue for both the local market and the entire network.
He/she shall ensure maximum conversion of all products by using proven sales methods, resulting in increased profitability. He/she shall develop good local and territory knowledge with particular attention on competition, target companies and industry segments.
We require applicants with a diploma in Sales and Marketing from a recognized university with at least 2 years experience in sales, excellent communication skills, creativity and innovation, able to achieve sales targets, intelligent and a team player.
The IT Assistant will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and upgrading computer hardware and software, personal computer networks, and peripheral equipment. This position also assesses user training needs, trains users in effective use of applications and provides user assistance to company staff.
Main duties will consist of desktop support with emphasis PC installation and troubleshooting user issues.
We require applicants with minimum Diploma in Information Technology from a recognized institution, broad knowledge of PC hardware/software and peripherals to networking, least 2 years working experience in an IT, ability to identify and resolve computer related problems.
Head of Human Resources
The person will be responsible for formulation and implementation of efficient human resource management strategies and policies that support the organizations business strategy, provision of advice and recommendations to the directors to ensure timely and equitable resolution of any industrial relation, disciplinary, ethical or legal staff issues and promotion of staff retention and development, motivation and productivity.
We require applicants with good knowledge of the labour legislation and industrial relations practices, demonstrated ability to manage people and achieve goals through teamwork, demonstrated ability to work in a highly paced environment and highly proactive.
In addition, he/she should be in possession of strong interpersonal, coordination and leadership skills, quick decision making ability and drive for results. The successful candidate should be in possession of a bachelors’ degree in HR and minimum 3 years working in the same position. An MBA will be an added advantage.
The person will be responsible for inspection of all the incoming materials to ensure conformity to the company specifications.
He/she shall carry out any required analysis on raw materials and finished products as per the laid down operational procedures, monitoring of the set Critical Control Points and Operational Prerequisite Programmes (O-PRP) at the specified frequencies in the HACCP plans and O-PRP plans respectively, and report to the relevant authorities when the critical limits are exceeded.
He/she shall do follow ups after corrective actions have been executed, monitor the entire process guided by the laid down standard operating procedures for process control, ensure that product non-conformities are controlled at all levels, and any non-conformity is properly documented and product isolated to prevent unintended use.
He/she shall carry out shelf life studies on the current products as per the laid down procedure, actively participate in any research on new product development and improvement of the existing ones, sensory evaluation of all products being packed to ensure quality and consistency among other duties within the QA Department.
We are require applicants with minimum diploma food science and technology, minimum 2 years experience in a busy manufacturing environment, very strong analytical and problem solving skills, good report writing skills, conversant with Microsoft office applications, experience with ISO Standards and/or HACCP is desirable, knowledge on good manufacturing practices, knowledge on new product development an added advantage.
