In order to meet our strategic plan and objectives, the company would wish to identify and recruit capable talents to fill the following positions based at JKIA Nairobi.
 
 
Sales and Marketing Team Leaders

2 Positions
 
Job Purpose: Reporting to the General Manager, the job holder will be responsible for generating commercial income for the company, with a particular focus on securing and managing new and existing customers.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Manages and directs the daily commercial operations of the leasing & rental department in accordance with the company’s policies and standards.
  • Looks for opportunities to grow the business, whether through partnerships or new initiatives, and works to take advantage of those opportunities
  • Oversees the completion of all necessary paperwork and ensures proper customer service.
  • Responsible for the productivity and budgetary performance of the leasing operations.
  • Develop and implements approved policies and procedures to improve efficiency and profitability of the company
  • Resolves issues with contracts and commercial operations.
  • Performs a variety of complicated tasks while demonstrating a wide degree of creativity and latitude.
  • Responsible for leading and directing the work of the sales team to ensure the agreed objectives are achieved.
  • Develop commercial and relationship management with the leasing customers, key players in the market; car dealers, equipment suppliers etc.
  • Develop the leasing portfolio through a clear and scheduled plan.
  • Follow closely the current market trends and analyse competitors positioning within the market.
  • Promote brand and product within the region.
  • Work in collaboration with the General Manager in developing efficient and effective support to customers.
  • Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
Education, Professional Qualifications & Work experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing / Business Administration / Engineering or its equivalent.
  • Post graduate diploma in Sales and Marketing.
  • Knowledge of the Kenyan Leasing Market.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in similar position or equivalent.
Skills & Competencies
  • Excellent Planning & Organizing/Work Management Skills.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent Teamwork/Collaboration ability.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Strong client management skills.
  • Proactive and result oriented.
Sales and Marketing Executives 

4 Positions
 
Job Purpose: Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Team Leader, the job holder will be responsible for building business by identifying and selling prospects and maintaining relationships with customers.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for researching, analysing, disseminating and maintaining market intelligence information from a variety of third-party data sources on leasing trends.
  • Visit potential customers for new business and negotiate terms of agreement and close deals.
  • Responsible for Identify prospective business opportunities and evaluating the need and proactively seeking to provide rental or leasing solutions.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
  • Develop Sales Proposals, negotiate with clients and process quotes on behalf of the sales team.
  • Establish contact and develop relationships with prospective clients.
  • Based on the Market intelligence report, Identify and recommend product improvements.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, participating in professional societies
  • Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analysis.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time
Education, Professional Qualifications & Work experience
  • Diploma in Marketing / Business Administration / Engineering or its equivalent.
  • Knowledge of the Kenyan Leasing Market.
  • At least 3 years’ sales experience in similar role.
  • Proven track record of good performance in Sales.
