Branch Sales Manager - Bungoma

 
The Branch Sales Manager will responsible for the daily administration and efficient operation of the branch office, including operations, sales, customer service, and security in accordance with company objectives.

Duties and responsibilities
  •  Develop a sales plan, formulate and implement sales strategies that ensure attainment of sales goals.
  • Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities
  • Ensure consistent day to day lead generation and conversion and maintenance of client list using a sales tracker.
  • Manage the branch budget and allocate funds appropriately
  • Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand in the region.
  • In charge of all presentations and communication which may occur as a result of implementation, scope modification or as a result of changes to internal analyses.
  • Responsibility for initiation of action to solve issues, problems, potential problems and resolve and answer all clients’ questions.
  • Monitor each salesperson's daily performance and compare it with that month's objective.
  • Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting regular activity and results reports, reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Resolves customer issues by investigating problems; developing solutions and  making recommendations to management.
  • Any other duty as may be assigned.
 Knowledge and Skills
 
Knowledge
 
The branch/sales manager must have proficient knowledge in the following ares:
  • Good understanding of sales concepts.
  • Excellent management skills.
  • Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging markets.
  • Knowledge of the service industry preferable, with a passion to work in an ICT environment
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills
Skills
 
The branch sales manager must demonstrate the following skills;
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a high-intensity, fast-paced ICT environment and meet sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to establish, build and maintain friendly, professional and cooperative relations during the course of work.
  • Good planning, organizing and prioritizing skills.
Personal Attributes
 
The Branch Sales manager must demonstrate the following personal attributes;
  • Demonstrate sound work ethics.
  • Resident of the area of operation with broad knowledge of the language, culture.
  • Maintain high business standards of conduct.
  • An open and flexible entrepreneurial attitude.
  • Honest and reliable.
Education and Experience
  • Business Degree with specialization in Marketing, sales, advertising or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Minimum 3-4 years’ experience with 1year in a similar role.
  • Experience in selling ICT services.
  • Experience in customer and market research.
  • Experience with business to business sales in the service industry.
  • Registered member of Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM)/ Marketing Society of Kenya (MSK)
Sales Representative - Nairobi

Sales Representative will be responsible for winning new sales, maintaining good relationships with existing clients, gain repeat of business, meet and exceed his/her targets.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Preparing and delivering customer presentations and demonstrations.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets set by managers and contributing to team targets.
  • Identifying and developing new business sales through networking and follow up calls
  • Maintaining awareness and keeping abreast of changing market demands.
  • Ensuring quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of technical specification.
  • Attending industry events on behalf of the company.
  • Responding to any concerns from clients or other technical questions on our services on emails and calls.
  • Work closely with the other team members to meet client goals.
  • Creating proposals documents as requested by clients.
  • Generating weekly reports and presenting them in the departmental meetings
  • Any other duty as may be assigned.
Knowledge and Skills
 
The incumbent must have proficient knowledge in the following areas;
  • Knowledge of principles and process for presenting customer & personal services.
  • Knowledge of principles of sales and marketing.
  • Knowledge of human behavior and performance.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong organizational and prioritizing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with diverse, cross functional teams.
  • Ability to solve problems and make independent decisions.
Personal Attributes
 
The Sales Representative must also demonstrate the following personal Attributes;
  • High degree self-motivation and ambition.
  • Resilience and ability to cope with rejection.
  • Desire the sell with a positive, confident and determined attitude.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree / diploma in PR / marketing / advertising / journalism / Mass Communication
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a sales role
  • Minimum 2years’ experience in ICT / service Industry.
  • Registered member of relevant professional body will be an added advantage.
