Regional Sales Manager – Western Kenya
 
Our client, a dynamic Solar Home Systems Company is looking to fill the position of a Regional Sales Manager who will support the Western Region, Kenya. 

The successful candidate Must have a strong background in setting up B2C sales strategies, ideally in rural areas, natural ability to penetrate new markets and achieving sales targets. 

He/she will manage a sales team and tele-sales operations in Nairobi.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-develop sales strategy, targets and sales quality in line with operation policies and processes.
  • Maximize sales through existing channels
  • Identify new channels to develop and implement the sales and service structure in the region
  • Prepare a forecast, monitor the performance and provide weekly/monthly reports.
  • Setting up and maintaining budget planning and compliance
  • Analyzing market trends and competitors landscape to ensure a successful sales development
  • Creating a strong sales team and establish a resilient cooperation with the marketing department.
Qualifications:
  • Business degrees with focus on sales management.
  • Willing to travel 80% of the time.
  • Enjoy working in remote areas.
  • Prior experiences working in the western regional will be a distinct advantage.
  • At least 3 years of professional B2C sales experience in a rapidly growing industry.
  • Possess sound knowledge and experience in sales reporting and forecasting, budgeting processes.
  • Experience in defining KPI's for Sales coordinators.
  • Possess sound knowledge and experience in business development and the execution of day-to-day sales
  • As an individual, you pursue a systematic, structured and reliable way of work.
  • Skilled in the daily cash flow management, budgeting processes, cost analyses and treasury operation
  • Personally you pursue a systematic, structured and reliable way of work.
  • Possess a hands-on approach and pronounced social competencies for teamwork and people management.
  • Target driven and dynamic, have Passion, idealism, intrinsic motivation.
  • Candidates who have experiencing selling solar for home use will have a distinct advantage.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 350,000 - 400,000/= (Approx. 3,500 - 4,000 USD) depending on skills and experience.
