Job Vacancy: Resourcing Consultant
Our client, a leading Consulting, Training and Resourcing firm with operation in the East African region seeks to recruit a self-driven, talented, innovative and result-oriented professional to fill the above position.
Reporting to the Managing director, the consultant will be responsible for delivering a full resourcing service including direct sourcing and generation of talent pools, solving complex recruitment challenges and ensuring the best candidates are recruited quickly, efficiently and cost-effectively.
Key Responsibilities
The job holder’s duties and responsibilities are outlined as follows:
  • Manage assignments by ensuring timelines are followed and procedures are adhered to.
  • Manage and oversee junior team and consultants.
  • Working with the Managing Director and/or Principal Consultants to get the assignments. done according to quality the standards of the firm and in a timely fashion.
  • Interact with the respective clients on a day to day basis / or as the assignment may require.
  • Market the department’s  services to new/existing clients, and following up on leads.
  • Ensure adherence to the Firm’s quality policy in the delivery of all assignments.
  • Contribute to the development of project management, quality assurance and professional consulting approaches
  • Contribute to the proposal submissions and business development initiatives within the organization
  • Participate in networking events related to the organization’s practice areas
  • Identify and make recommendations to improve work processes as applicable
  • Supports the organization by assuming responsibility for, or contributing to the management of one or more administrative aspects of the business
  • Conduct a product analysis mapping and define customer segments and target list with regards to Resourcing.
  • Generate account management reports as required for all resourcing account
  • Prepare and submit regular weekly and monthly reports as required (leads, sales, account management, partnership).
  • Have a comprehensive leads list with documents activities undertaken-
  • Review the existing Resourcing Strategy and provide recommendations for immediate action including prioritization.
  • Produce a write up on suitable marketing material for the department Resourcing product. Review website content in regard to this. 
  • Come up with and recommend the processes and procedures to be put in place to ensure that our resourcing services are run successfully
  • Any other duties that relate to the position as may be assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
  • Degree in Human Resource, Sociology, Psychology or any other HR related course
  • Member of IHRM
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Human Resource support with at least 3 years’ experience in supervisory and consultant role.
  • Recruitment experience within in-house Recruitment teams in a Customer Services Environment
  • Good understanding of working with external suppliers and supplier relationship management
  • Proven stakeholder engagement experience with a service lead and consultative approach
  • Delivering an end to end recruitment model that is both operationally effective and cost efficient
