Celebrating 100 years of supporting cooperatives that build a better world, the National Cooperative Business Association CLUSA International (NCBA CLUSA) is the apex association for cooperative businesses in the United States and an intern ational development organization. 

NCBA CLUSA provides cross-sector support, advocacy and international development that helps co-ops thrive.
 
NCBA CLUSA is currently accepting expressions of interest from potential candidates interested in serving in the following positions for the anticipated USAID funded Kenya Feed the Future Crop and Dairy Market Systems Development Activity. 

 
This is a five-year cooperative agreement (CA) whose purpose is to sustainably reduce hunger, malnutrition and poverty in Kenya by focusing on 

(i) inclusive and sustainable agriculture-led growth; 

(ii) strengthened resilience among people and systems and 

(iii) a well-nourished population.
 
Market Systems / Value Chain Specialist
 
Minimum Requirements:
  • 10 years’ international experience with successful market systems development projects with management responsibility.
  • 10 years’ experience in projects with similar magnitude and complexity in developing countries.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing projects aimed at increasing the competitiveness and inclusiveness of market systems using
  • facilitation approaches.
  • Education and technical expertise in a field related to agricultural development
Agricultural Productivity Specialist
 
Minimum Requirements:
  • 10 years’ international experience with successful value chain development projects in the technical area of management responsibility.
  • 10 years’ experience in projects with similar magnitude and complexity in developing countries.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing projects aimed at increasing the productivity and inclusiveness of value chains using facilitation approaches.
  • Education and technical expertise in a field related to agricultural development.
M & E and CIA Specialist
 
Minimum Requirements
  • At least 5 years (preferably 7) experience in managing performance monitoring plans, evaluation, collaboration and learning, preferably with knowledge of USAID’s CLA approach and measuring systemic change.
  • At least 5 years (preferably 7) of practical experience in using monitoring and evaluation and learning activities to inform activity implementation and results.
  • Education and technical expertise in a field related to monitoring, evaluation, knowledge management, and learning.
Contracting Officer / Grants Manager
 
Minimum Requirements
  • 10 years’ international experience of successful contracting, administration, or grants management.
  • 10 years’ experience on projects with similar magnitude and complexity in developing countries.
  • Education and technical expertise in a field related to international development, contracting, public administration, and business development.
  • Experience working in USAID funded projects is an added advantage for all these positions.
