The Authority is seeking qualified candidates who will help it achieve its goals by filling several positions under its graduate trainees programme.
The Authority therefore wishes to invite suitable Kenyan citizens for consideration. The intake will be for both Revenue Officer trainees and Border Control Officer trainees.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo an intensive training in all the theoretical and practical aspects of modern tax administration and managerial skills for a period of 24 months.
Applicants must be graduates from recognised Universities with a minimum of Upper Second Class Honours degree preferably in the following fields:
- B.Com. (Accounting/Auditing/Business Administration options)
- B.A/BSc. (Econpmics/Statistics/Communication/Finance/Humanities)
- Business Administration (Finance option)
- LLB (Taxation Law will be an advantage)
- Any other relevant degree, however, those with ICT related degree should not apply.
General computer skills in Windows Operating System (Windows XP and Office Suite etc.), office automation tools (Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point, etc.) and use of the internet will be a strong advantage.
