Payment Industry Country Manager Job in Kenya

Job Title: Country Manager - Kenya
Industry: Payment Industry
Reports to: Managing Director
Job Purpose: To oversee scheme and service management
Key Responsibilities
Scheme Management
  • Oversees the definition, communication, enforcement, revision and administration of our client’s Scheme rules and regulations
  • Drives strategic projects to grow the acceptance and Issuance of our client payment tokens
  • Actively supports and participates in Strategic product development for our client with a view to grow revenue and maintain market share in line with company’s objectives
  • Works with cross-functional internal teams (Issuer management, sales, legal, marketing etc.) and partners to drive penetration of our client in focus segment
Country Management
  • Represents our client in strategic partnerships and activities that grows the credibility of the brand in-country
  • Defines CSR activities with Marketing and drives them from the scheme perspective
  • Organizes and administratively drives the Advisory council in-country
  • Plans and Organizes meetings-
  • Council member communication
  • Council member welfare
  • Meeting feedback incorporation and documentation
Service Management
  • Works with other in-house teams to deliver optimal product experience and back-end operations for the end customer
  • Actively develops, defines, implements, executes, launches and manages specific products which directly interface with the end customer / cardholder
  • Oversees product cluster management for direct-customer products by ensuring all products are working as designed
  • Grows direct-customer products adoption and penetration
Customer Interaction and Engagement
  • Actively oversees the communication and interaction with end-customers
  • Delivers company strategic objective by influencing customer behaviour through communication and direct engagement
Education qualifications and experience requirement
  • A good degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Social Sciences
  • Master’s level -  added advantage
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a technical / operational role within the payment industry
