We are looking for a HR Intern to handle a variety of daily administrative operations of the Human Resource Department. 

HR intern responsibilities include 
  • providing information/ maintaining Records and clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources activities.
  • He / she will work under the immediate supervision of the Human Resource Officer with direct oversight of the Director of Operations.
  • Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
  • Update and maintain all staff records and individual files including contracts, medical, appraisals, etc
  • Process and follow up claims for medical cover, wiba insurance and other staff issues
  • Provide HR administrative support such as placement of advertisements, receiving and filling applications, inviting candidates for interview, organizing interview venues, issuance of new staff identity cards etc, during staff recruitment processes
  • Maintains employee confidence and protect operations by keeping human resource information confidential.
  • Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and on time.
  • Timely retrieval of files, correspondences and other documents.
  • Assist in the on-boarding/orientation process for new employees
  • Perform any other duty as may be assigned by your supervisor
  • Degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration or relevant field and a Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management will be an advantage
  • Good interpersonal and people management skills, computer literacy
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • A good team player
  • Excellent communication and listening skills including highly effective multi-tasking skills with ability to coordinate and prioritize workload.
  • Minimum 1 year’s working experience
Successful candidates will be hired for a duration of 3 months.
