Job Summary: Sales

Main Responsibilities
  • Generating new insurance business from the market for all classes of business
  • Exploring and identifying potential markets and monitoring new business opportunities and trends.
  • Securing requests for quotations and undertaking the necessary background research prior to preparing quotations so as to improve the chances of successful bidding and follow up the quotations to ensure we close the business.
  • Calculate premiums and clearly communicate payment terms.
  • Engage existing clients specifically to promote retention by communicating any new sales proposition or advantages for FIA products
  • Coordinate with clients in providing necessary information, documents and other details for policy claims
  • Effectively compete in sales with others in the same business
  • Ensure clients provide all necessary details required for insurance cover
  • Determine and clearly communicate to management the risk exposure for each client
  • Generate leads from prospective clients, including FEP investors and other networks
  • Assist clients making claims
  • Explain various types of insurance policies to clients (companies and individuals)
  • Be able to conduct sales presentation in seminars, meetings and other appropriate gatherings
  • Attending to any other duties that may be allocated by management from time to time.
