Account Manager and Area / Territory Customer Manager Jobs in Kenya

Our client seeks to fill these two positions: location Nairobi
 
1. Account Manager
 
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Customer management by ensuring that customers’ are satisfied at all times for areas assigned.
  • Handling customers’ complaints professionally, successfully and promptly.
  • Debt collection of all outstanding payments and credit control of all Accounts in your assigned area to make sure payments are made when the account is due.
  • Maintaining customers’ information and records in both soft and hard copies and updating the same from time to time using sage evolution.
  • Prompt preparation and submission of daily reports or any other reports that may be required from time to time as per the required standards.
  • Reconciliation of customer accounts in liaison with the finance department.
  • Customer relationship management to cultivate and enhance strong rapport, brand awareness and loyalty. This will be done through PR visits within a certain time frame as set out by your manager.
  • On a daily basis, prepare a list of customers to be visited the following day.
Requirements
  • Bachelors’ degree in a business related field with a minimum of CPA 1.
  • 2 years’ experience
  • Computer literate
  • Proficiency in any ERP system (added advantage)
  • Keen eye for detail.
27-35 years, male candidates are encouraged to apply

Salary: 30,000 to 35,000

2. Area / Territory Customer Manager
 
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Follow up on dispatch and delivery of water to ensure that the physical deliveries are made on time and customers’ needs are met at all times.
  • Ensuring that customers’ complaints are attended to amicably as soon as they arise.
  • Maintain the deliveries books in good condition and ensure that they are duly signed and stamped by the respective customers.
  • Checking delivery books and reconciling deliveries conducted on a daily basis.
  • Prompt preparation and submission of daily reports on deliveries made and customers pending list for the day and any other reports that may be required from time to time by the head of department.
  • On a daily basis make follow up calls or delivery verification calls and periodic visits to customers with in the area assigned to you to ensure those customers’ expectations are fully met.
  • Preparing and reviewing delivery schedule for your route/ area from time to time to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Supervise the delivery staff assigned to your area or route and ensure they observe the company’s rules and regulation and also be a role model/ mentor to them.
Requirements
  • Bachelors’ degree in a business related field with a basic accounting knowledge.
  • 2 years experience
  • Computer literate
  • Proficiency in any ERP system (added advantage)
  • Keen eye for detail.
27-35 years, male candidates are encouraged to apply
