ICT Company Region Sales Supervisor Job in Kenya

Our client, an ICT company that develops solutions meant to improve businesses and peoples’ lives has been contracted to sell fiber to home internet solutions. 

They seek to hire a Region Sales Supervisor who will be responsible for promoting and expanding the home fiber business.

The position entails frequent travel for various sales activities, sales follow ups, industry and partner events (40%-70% of the time).
Key responsibilities and duties are:
  • Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results.
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
  • Implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • In liaison with partner organizations establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
  • Complete national sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
  • Oversee national sales staff and participate in recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Maintain national sales staff job results by counselling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Contribute to team assignments by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications, Experience and Competencies
  • Bachelors Degree from a reputable institution preferably in sales and marketing.
  • At least three years relevant working experience, one of which must be at a supervisory level.
  • Good working knowledge and experience in selling fixed broadband for homes, small businesses or pay TV preferable.
  • Experience in managing a sales team a must.
  • Strong in strategic thinking with hands on approach to customer and consumer business analysis.
  • Strong in customer engagement, key accounts sales, merchandising and promotions strategy.
  • Proven ability to deliver on targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, problem solving and decision making skills.
  • A clean driving license a plus.
