Manufacturing Company Group HRM Job in Kenya (500K)

Our Client a manufacturing company based in S. Africa is looking to recruit a Group Human Resource Manager for the East Africa region. 

The ideal candidate must have group experience.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead & mentor a team of HR Specialist to deliver a HR partnering services within East Africa
  • Implement and maintain of a Talent Management framework
  • Identify and retain future successors in the organisation.
  • To manage performance improvement programs to achieve a High Performance Organisation
  • Ensure that all factors relating to Employment Equity/ Transformation are communicated & achieved
  • Continuously review recruitment, assessment and selection strategy & processes to meet the requirements
  • Provide professional HR consultation to business leaders on HR elements; Performance & Talent Management
  • Oversee employee Relations; Workforce Planning; Diversity; Compensation
  • Ensure an open, motivated and harmonious work environment/ climate & implement change and culture interventions
  • Provide guidance and coaching on selection and use of metrics
  • To optimise people, processes and organisational structure to achieve the company's objectives
  • Ensure Job Profiles and scorecards are accurate, relevant & reflect the required competencies.
  • Lead a customer service ethos by understanding the customer requirements and ensuring HR deliver them
  • Encourage and reinforce the Organisational Values and Leadership principles
Qualifications:
  • Master’s Degree
  • Degree in Human Resource Management/Industrial Psychology or any relevant Degree
  • 8-12 years HR generalist of which 5 years must include management experience
  • Experience of working in East or Southern Africa
  • Ability to influence and build relationships
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and lead a Team
  • Empirical knowledge of holistic Talent Management Strategy
  • Thorough understanding of Labour Legislations
  • Ability to act as a coach to HR team and business partners
  • Detailed knowledge of the employee value chain
  • Ability to align HR activities and interventions with Business requirements
  • Customer Insight and Focus
  • Coaching & Developing Others and Strategic Planning
  • Relationship Building and Networking
  • Business acumen
Monthly Gross Salary: Kshs. 500,000 (Approx. 5000 USD)
