World’s leading food processing and packaging solutions company in Nairobi, Kenya, seeks a suitably qualified individual with 5 years recruiting experience preferably in a large international FMCG or Packaging company.  

Candidate must be a Kenyan citizen and have experience in recruiting nationally, internationally and at all levels and in all disciplines.

 
Resourcing Related Responsibilities:
  • Support and advise Line Managers and HR professionals when dealing with resourcing issues, i.e. to be considered as the Subject Matter Expert in resourcing related matters
  • Identify resourcing related issues, propose solutions and discuss with the Manager Resourcing
  • Perform services on demand according to the Company’s Policies and Procedures and act as second line support in Human Resources Supply Chain.
  • Act as a Recruiter, perform recruitment for specific geographies as assigned by Recruitment Manager for Permanent White Collar and White Collar Contractor population
  • Revise and understand the position’s content and competence profile with Hiring Manager and responsible HR Manager
  • Define Recruitment time plan as per Terms & Conditions and inform Hiring Manager
  • Involve Reward Team to evaluate suitable level of compensation for internal candidate
  • Give support in choice of resourcing media and methodology
  • Support Recruitment Manager in contracting new suppliers, if applicable
  • Create job ad and co-ordinate posting
  • Applications screening (i.e. analyze CVs, conduct pre-screening interviews over the phone)
  • Plan first and second round of interviews
  • Advise Hiring Manager about selection tools to be used
  • Perform communication with rejected candidates
  • Support in performing references check, if applicable
  • Draft offer, review with Hiring Manager and extend offer
  • Perform administration of all Resourcing related activities such as Recruitment, Induction, Termination and Relocation
Qualifications and Skills
  • Human Resources Management qualification or similar
  • Minimum 5 years recruiting skills in an large manufacturing / FMCG or Packaging environment
  • Excellent people,  communication and written skills
  • Interviewing skills in all disciplines and at white collar level
  • Good command of the English and local language
  • Computer literate in the full MS Office Suite and SAP
  • Strong social media skills
  • Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
