Exciting Career Opportunities with a Leading Financial Services Group
Our client, a leading integrated financial services group with a strong presence in the East and Southern African region, seeks to hire dedicated, dynamic and ambitious individuals to fill the following position:

Project Manager

The job holder is responsible for the management of the project’s resourcing demand and supply.    

He / she will also direct, control, organize plan and staff initiatives in line with the organization’s strategic plans.

Key responsibilities and duties are:
  • Portfolio Management or Project Management as may be applicable
  • Resource management – supply PMO Portfolios with PMO Resources
  • Incharge of people Management – Project Managers, Business Analysts, Quality Analysts and stakeholder including vendors.
  • Identify most appropriate Project approach and assemble the project brief
  • Develop a risk management and quality management strategy
  • Oversee project implementation from initiation to closure
  • Ensure proper documentation of requisite records (lessons log, daily log etc)
Qualifications, Experience and Technical Competencies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics or Banking. 
  • A Master’s Degree is an added advantage
  • At least 10 years overall work experience three of which should be in a leadership position.
  • Proven track record of achieving set targets
  • Strategic thinker with good leadership and people management skills
  • Demonstrable knowledge and skill in management and execution of project plans is a must.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and skill in risk identification and assessment.
  • Excellent Communication (verbal and written and analytical skills).
  • Strong planning, budgeting and organizing skills.

  • High level of professionalism
  • Strong interpersonal skills at various levels
  • Excellent business writing skills,
  • Excellent presentation / facilitation skills
  • Ability to work with and through diverse groups
  • Good organization skills and demonstrable leadership qualities
