Duties and Responsibilities
  • Secretary to the County Executive Committee
  • Head of County Public Service
  • Implement policies resolved by County Executive Committee
  • Undertake other functions as per direction of the County Executive Committee.
Requirements for appointment
  • Be a Kenyan citizen
  • Be a university graduate with at least 10 years in administration and management
  • Satisfy the requirements of chapter 6 of the constitution of Kenya 2010

How to Apply
  1. Eligible and Interested applicants should submit their applications with copies of National Identification cards, academic and professional certificates together with their detailed CVs.
  2. Clearance documents for purposes of complying with the provisions of Chapter Six of the Constitution will be required from those shortlisted.
  3. Hand delivered applications can be submitted to the Secretariat, Public Service Board, next to the County Assembly.
  4. All applications for the position of County Secretary should reach The Office of the Governor on or before 5th September 2017.
