Coffee Farm Financial Controller Job in Moshi, Tanzania

Our client one of East Africa’s largest Coffee Farms located above Moshi and recognized for growing and producing Arabic Coffee for export are currently looking for a qualified, hands-on and motivated Financial Controller

The succesfull candidate would be required to guide the finance, procurement and IT department. 

He/she must have prior experiences working in an international accounting / auditing firm. 

Candidates with a background in the Agriculture sector will have an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ability to monitor, forecast, assess and interpret corporate financial performance.
  • Strong leadership, sound judgment and strong organization skills.
  • Qualification:
  • Must be willing to work in Moshi, Tanzania.
  • Candidates with an international background working for the big five audit firms or multinational organisation will have an added advantage.
  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • Candidates with an MBA/M.Sc. will have an added advantage.
  • Must be proficient in the use of finance management software i.e. Navision
  • Must have an ACCA or be a certified accountant.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years experiences working as a Financial Controller.
  • Candidates would be required to have a knowledge of contract drafting & negotiations.
  • Knowledge in largescale commercial agriculture is highly preferable.
  • Analytical management skills.
  • Ability to handle high pressure situations and tight deadlines.
Monthly gross salary: Excellent remuneration plus housing, company car and medical.
