In pursuit of our ambitious growth plan, we seek to fill the below positions in our Sales & Marketing Department
Job Title: Business Development Associate
Department: Sales and Marketing
Location(s) City/Cities:  Kenya, (Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Naivasha)

This position requires a high degree of initiative and skills in Sales, key account management, communication and negotiation.

Job Profile (Function Specific Activities).
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by developing lasting relationships within targeted customers and providing excellent customer service.
  • Develop and maintain close relations with local business community to evaluate customer skills and evaluate business needs in order to fulfill them more effectively.
  • Research and promote services through conventions, trade shows etc.
  • Telemarketing services to potential clients, visit potential clients and explain our services.
  • Collect information regarding the business environment from assigned regions and provide feedback reports to the Business Development Manager.
  • Carry out planning, forecasting, and individual management of assigned sales regions in consultation with the Business Development Manager.
  • Developing “out of the box” sales strategies and evaluating their effectiveness in consultation with the Business Development Manager.
  • Attend meetings, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments in the industry.
  • Report and provide feedback to management as prescribed by the B D M.
  • Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory & close on sales.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by management
Qualifications / Background
  • Education: Minimum: Diploma, Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Related Work Experience: A minimum of three years relevant work experience.
Essential / Desirable Skills
  • Experience in selling subscription based products to corporate clients.
  • Ability to accurately forecast new sales and revenue projections at a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
  • Respond in a timely and accurate manner to all new orders being placed.
  • Ability to close sales in record time and on budget.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and driven
