Company Description: We are an eCommerce company in Kenya dedicated to making business easier for the sellers. 

Our core business is to enable sellers to reach a wide range of buyers and buyers to get quality products by using dedicated multivendor online systems.
Recently, we set up an online multivendor system for buyers to get a wide variety of furniture from many workshops in Nairobi.

Furniture is a lifestyle, which every person deserves to live comfortably. Unfortunately, owning good furniture has been seen as a thing of the rich. 

Our company, therefore, is looking to enabling every individual to own quality and affordable furniture.
For this reason, we are looking for applicants who possess the highest levels of talent, dedication and integrity.

We want a kick-ass candidate who can literally write content and make the content go viral on social media. 

A get-things-done candidate who takes initiative for breakfast, and sips on hundreds of Facebook shares and twitter retweet before lunch.

Candidate should thrive independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while embodying a team-first mentality.
Job Description: The primary role of a Digital marketer encompasses administrative duties in developing and implementing marketing strategies for all digital and non-digital ones. 

While we do not promise you a good pay, this internship will help you acquire marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies especially for startups with no income. 

Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment.
1. Write/Edit/Proofread
  • Blog articles, newsletters, emails, infographics
  • Website content with attention to SEO optimization
  • Digital and print ads, social content
  • Brochures fact sheets
  • Engaging blog and social media content.
2. Managing social media pages and running campaigns
  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • Google+
3. Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them.
4. Monitor analytics with social media team to identify viable ideas.
5. Responding to concerns of clients/vendors on social media.
6. Search and recruit vendors on social media. 
7. Any other related tasks. 
Requirements and Competencies
  • A university Degree or Diploma.
  • Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Experience in digital writing with strong skill in SEO optimization.
  • Ability to learn technical product details and simplify for customer facing materials
  • Savvy in using computers and the internet.
  • At least 5 months marketing any products online.  
  • Ability to design simple graphics for social media marketing
  • A practical understanding of growth hacking for startups with little or no funding.
