Call for Proposals for Conducting an Employee Climate Survey 2017
Background: Hand in Hand Eastern Africa (HIHEA)is a regional Non-Governmental Organization and a member of the Hand in Hand International network with its independent operations in Eastern Africa. Our vision is to alleviate poverty through job creation. 

The mission of HiH EA is focused on social empowerment and reducing poverty by creating enterprises and jobs.

As part of the 2017 organization development initiatives towards its strategic objective to maintain a highly motivated and engaged workforce, HIH EA is in the process of conducting an employee climate survey on satisfaction and understanding of the HIHEA’s organization mission, culture and work environment.
HIHEA invites Human Resource Management and/or Organization Development professionals to submit a proposal for conducting an employee climate survey, analysis and reporting as outlined here below.
The survey is purposed to provide:
  1. A focused feedback mechanism about the level of employees’ satisfaction, perceptions, engagement and expectations in the work environment.
  2. An objective basis of gauging needs, gaps and strengths of the organization from the viewpoint of employees as stakeholders
  3. A pro-active method of accommodating employees’ views on workplace improvement, policies and practices.
  4. An alternative channel of soliciting and generating inputs for human capital development interventions and programs.
Survey Method
The survey will be conducted under the guidance the HR & Administration Manager in collaboration with an independent survey researcher/analyst with a commitment to assure of independence, confidentiality and respect of willful participation in the entire process and objectivity of outcomes.
The survey shall be electronically administered through online/emailed questionnaires to all employees over a two weeks period in September 2017 and the report to be ready by 22nd September 2017.
