Job Vacancy: HR Manager
 
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Planning, controlling and coordinating all human resource management activities in such areas as Recruitment and selection, discipline, training and development, induction and deployment, and employee relations
  • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Review and analyzing staff performance and career progression guidelines
  • Interpretation of Human Resource policies and its implementation
  • Coordinating the Human Resource budget
  • Handling of labour relations matters
  • Leave management such as annual leave, sick –off leave, maternity and paternity leave.
  • Maintain accurate staff records in Human Resources Management System
  • Make monthly and annual HR reports
  • Compensation and benefits administration, employee safety, welfare and health,
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time
Qualifications
  • A Degree in Business Administration or HRM and professional qualification in Human Resource Management
  • Minimum five (3) years Human Resources experience.
  • Experience in a cleaning company is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrable people management skills
  • Well-developed interpersonal and team skills and proven ability to be flexible in demanding situations.
  • Good negotiating skills and able to support and influence others
  • Ability to work independently, but as part of a team
  • Good knowledge of Kenya labour law
  • Initiative and ability to work independently and develop solutions to problems
  • Ability to produce creative and pragmatic solutions to diverse HR problems.
  • A good communicator with strong written and reporting skills.
  • Competent in the use of computers especially word, excel, internet.
