Business Development Associate Job in Kenya

Our client, a provider of business ready mobile lending and loan management platforms to FinTech companies is looking to recruit a competent Business Development Associate to take over management of the sales process and pipeline, to generate new leads through social media and company newsletters and to provide assistance and training to lenders (MNOs, MFIs, Banks, SACCOs & Informal Lenders) in the post-sales period.

The Business Development Associate will report to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing – Contribute to development of marketing content, from email campaigns and blog posts to longer pieces such as reports and case studies. The goal is to continuously re-iterate the Company’s status as a pioneer in mobile lending technology and leader in the sector
2. Sales - Manage the lead generation process, taking clients from their first contact through to contract signing. This will involve following up with all new leads, maintaining existing leads, responding to RFPs, giving system demos and producing the monthly sales analytics & reports
3. Post Sales Training – responsible for training new customers on the Company’s System. Development and improvement of existing training materials, including online manual, training videos etc
Skills & Experience Required
  • Experience with CRM tools, Wordpress and MailChimp is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in social media and marketing
  • Experience working in Software and/or SaaS technology sector is a plus but not required
  • Experience in microfinance is a plus but not required
