They are one of the leading online payments companies across the continent with over 2,500 customers serving the travel, tourism and hospitality sectors.

 
Having recently secured a significant round of funding to accelerate the growth of the business there couldn't be a better time to join their team. 

Based from their Head Office in Kenya, you will be selling their online payment services to customers in the Travel, Airline and e-commerce sectors.

Core Skills

You need to have a minimum of three years sales experience with proven closed sales in either one or more of the following sectors –
  1. Hospitality
  2. Banking
  3. Tour Operations
  4. Conference & Corporate Travel
  5. Entertainment
  6. Schools/Education
  7. Insurance
  8. Transport: Taxi, Car Hire, Transfers
  9. E-commerce - retail & tech
  10. Restaurants
  11. Fintech services
  12. Medical
  • Optional background in banking or software / system support will be considered a great advantage
  • Understanding of Office System including Excel & Powerpoint
  • Experience with CRM system for lead & pipeline planning & reporting is a critical requirement
  • Fluent sales presenter
  • Excellent written and verbal English
Job Responsibilities
  • To research, agree and approach sales targets to further the company’s sales growth objectives
  • To utilise the company CRM to identify and follow up on leads
  • To schedule meetings every month with new and existing merchants to maximise transaction values and volumes
  • To learn, internalise and follow company sales systems and procedures
Main Tasks
  • To identify sales targets, plan, initiate and execute sale meetings
  • To complete all client meetings as per the schedule every month, face-to-face, by Skype and phone calls to generate new sales and support existing clients
  • To manage new accounts during and after the sales process
  • To prepare and present weekly sales reports to the Country/Regional Manager based on sales targets, activities and achievements, deadlines and market intelligence
  • To participate in sales road shows, workshops, client exhibitions and events as directed by the Sales and Marketing departments.
