Job Vacancy: Events Administrator

Nairobi, Kenya

Overall Responsibility: The Events Administrator is responsible for daily running of the office, processing conferences and booking events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Processing conferences and booking of events.
  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies.
  • Supervise administrative staff and divide responsibilities to ensure performance.
  • Manage agendas/travel arrangements and appointments for the Director.
  • Manage phone calls and correspondences like e-mails, letters and other packages.
  • Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures.
  • Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data.
  • Track stock of office supplies and place orders when necessary.
  • Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned
  • Assist colleagues whenever necessary
  • Liaising with other departments about customer requirements
  • Preparing brochures for enquiries
  • Selling conferences and events over the telephone/online
  • Any other duty as assigned
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree/Diploma in Business related field
  • 1-2 years’ experience as an Events Administrator
  • Good project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in computer applications
  • Quick learner with good customer care skills
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail.
