.Net Developer Job in Nairobi Kenya

Job Vacancy: .Net Developer

Job Summary: The .Net Developer will be responsible for designing, modifying, developing, writing and implementing software programming applications and components.

S/he will support and/or install software applications and components; work from written specifications and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and maintain documentation of process flow. 

S/he will be based in Nairobi.

 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using .NET languages (C#, VB .NET)
  • Integrate data storage solutions.
  • Enhance existing software and systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement.
  • Upgrading, configuring and debugging existing applications using .Net, C#, and MVC;
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
  • Providing technical support for web, desktop or mobile applications.
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree in Information technology, Computer Science, or other related technology discipline.
  • 3+ Years’ experience of programming (writing code/creating applications) with popular web application frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of .NET web framework.
  • Proficient in {{ C#,  MVC, jQuery, Angular JS, Java script }}.
  • Good knowledge and experience of database fundamentals, RDBMS data modeling, programming and performance tuning with MS SQL and/or equivalent database.
  • Solid HTML, CSS knowledge.
