Non-Governmental Organization ICT Manager Job in Kenya

Our client, a Non-Governmental Organization, seeks to engage and hire an ICT Manager professional responsible for managing, delivering and evaluating a wide variety of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications and advise the management on strategic IT solutions that will improve the organisation’s performance and efficiency.

Role Profile
 
Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Formulating and implementing an Information Communication and Technology Strategy;
  • Evaluating user needs and system functionality and ensuring that MIS/IT facilities are aligned with the organizational goals;
  • Coordinating implementation of all computerized information systems within the organization’s  network;
  • Liaising with the policy makers to determine hardware, software and access requirements for staff members;
  • Consulting with the Management Team; advising and assisting in designing and training of MESPT staff in the implementation of new MIS/IT procedures, software or MIS/IT changes within the Trust’s core business;
  • Introducing new online platforms and technologies such as credit online applications, online customer interaction platforms, e-learning, online staff discussion forums, conference registration to digitize the Trust;
  • Ensuring that all systems are integrated and operate efficiently in accordance with global IT guidelines;
  • Co-ordinating training activities in office automation, hardware and software installation in consultation with the Resource centre;
  • Participating in preparation of budgets and implementation of effective controls to achieve financial targets.

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Information Technology; an MBA or related field of study from a recognised university;
  • A minimum of Ten (10) years’ work experience in a similar set up of which Five (5) years should be in a managerial position;
  • CISA Certification;
  • Experience working with Navision software.
