Concern Worldwide International NGO Jobs in Kenya

Concern Worldwide is an international non-governmental humanitarian organization dedicated to the reduction of suffering and working towards the ultimate elimination of extreme poverty in the world’s poorest countries.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Kenyan nationals for the following positions:
Job Title: Assistant Country Financial Controller (ACFC)
Duty Station: Nairobi
Contract: Fixed Term Contract
Job Summary: The incumbent will assist the Country Financial Controller in the day to day operations of the finance department including donor grants management, budgets and budget revisions, financial reporting and controls and staff management and capacity building as per Concern’s policies and procedures.
Job Specification:
  • A degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or relevant field
  • CPA (K), ACCA, CIA or relevant professional certification
  • At least seven (7) years’ experience, with at last three (3) years in a supervisory or managerial role, in an international NGO that works with and through partners. 
  • Experience in audit and compliance ¡s essential.
Job Title: Senior Manager - ASAL FIM
Duty Station: Marsabit
Contract: Fixed Term Contract

Job Summary: The incumbent will be responsible for strategic development of the Concern Kenya ASAL livelihoods partnership portfolio including providing leadership to partners within the framework of Concern’s overall and Sustainable Livelihood Security Policy.
Job Specification:
  • A masters degree in Agri-business, Agriculture, Environmental Studies, Livelihoods, Livestock Production, Applied Economics, Natural Resource Management or related discipline
  • At least seven (7) years of experience, with at least 3 (three) years supervisory/managerial experience, in a rural/ASAL livelihoods programme that works with and through local partners
