Business Development Executive Job in Kenya

Job Vacancy: Business Development Executive
 
Duties:
  • Planning a market prospection and identifying potential clients, competitors and products
  • Developing new business relationships, generating and negotiating new income for the company to an agreed Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly target
  • Creating, managing, coordinating and executing all sales & marketing strategies and implementation of tactical plans that meet and exceed company expectations.
  • Identifying and achieving new business opportunities in tenders.
  • Taking lead in Planning, Development and Implementation of effective Sales & Marketing strategies.
  • Generating, developing and maintaining commercial links with potential clients.
  • Maintaining prequalification status with all the stakeholders.
  • Accurately forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly revenue pipeline.
  • Remaining up-to-date with product knowledge and trends in Telecommunication industry and general business.
  • Actively and successfully managing the sales process: lead generation; credentials pitch; asking questions; solution pitch; negotiation; close; handover to the project management team.
  • Representing the company at industry events and tradeshows.
  • Creating and accountable for all client proposals, contracts and any further documentation, following the company’s procedure.
  • Effectively interacting with other departments especially the operations department and technical/implementation team when handing over projects ensuring they are fully and correctly briefed in all aspects of the project.
  • Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential clients; discovering and exploring opportunities.
  • Integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating clients' needs and goals.
  • Closing new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Requirements for the this role;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communication or Marketing Major.
  • An advanced qualification in management and possession of a professional marketing qualification will be an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of the local telecommunications market and/or energy and its players is an added advantage.
  • At least 3 years hands on experience in planning, developing and growing new business in a service organization preferably in telecommunication industry.
  • Self-driven and motivated and able to work under minimum supervision.
  • The individual should have strong verbal and presentation skills and the ability to lead a team effectively
