Job Vacancy: Business Manager

Our client is a commercial enterprise whose main objective is to create awareness on organic healthy living by way of supplying healthy organic food, products and information on healthy living for its clients.  

They have operated an organic health restaurant for the past 11 years and most recently opened an e-shop for healthy products and social health club.  

To facilitate growth of their operations, they have recently restructured their executive team and are hence looking to fill the strategic position of Business Manager. 

The Business Manager will be responsible for implementing the company’s business strategies, manage the channels of business and continue driving business growth. 

S/he will also be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the company. 

This is a rewarding career role that requires an individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, passion for healthy living and personal drive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement targeted business plans and strategies for the company’s business lines to guide growth and expansion.
  • Lead in sourcing, managing and implementing business opportunities in current and potential markets to deliver on established targets.
  • Conduct and leverage on market data to drive company growth and expansion.
  • Prepare Board reports and engage the Board about business related issues.
  • Prepare annual budgets, track and monitor monthly and quarterly performance against budgets to guide decision making.
  • Supervise and oversee company activities and staff performance.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations on the different business lines.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelors’ Degree in a business related field
  • At least 3 years’ managerial experience
  • Be a healthy living enthusiast
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage
  • Demonstrated experience in creatively driving revenue generation including exploring new growth avenues
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills with hands on staff management experience
  • Financial management skills specifically budgeting, financial forecasting and monitoring skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to details
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit, personal drive and initiative
