Clique Limited Sales Manager

Our client Clique Limited is a leading trader in supplying toiletries, amenities, linen, glassware, crockery, and kitchenware. 

The organization makes sure that the products are of optimum quality and are procured from the best.
They are seeking to recruit a highly talented professional to fill in the following position in their Nairobi office:
Sales Manager 

(1 Position)
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the position is responsible to drive the company’s sales operations and market share. 

The role will also be responsible for conducting marketing campaigns and account management.

Principal Accountabilities
  • Monitoring sales and collection targets
  • Overseeing the commission structure to ensure it is monitored it and properly calculated
  • Stock planning to ensure no stock outs
  • Creating and monitoring sales contracts and credit forms to ensure regular supply
  • Mapping potential customers and generating leads for the organization
  • Analyzing sales statistics gathered by the sales staff to determine client feasibility
  • Supporting and coordinating of marketing programs and promotions that drive the company objectives
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients, and serving as the lead on all sales and marketing activities
  • Developing and maintaining all accounts
  • Leading and managing marketing projects and respective accounts
  • Participating in negotiations to develop new business, and resolve critical problems affecting the sales program
  • Determining practicable price schedules and applicable discount rates
  • Consulting with potential clients regarding equipment needs and advising them as necessary on company products
  • Devising strategies and techniques for attaining sales targets whilst meeting these targets
  • Following up on quotes and pre-qualifications
  • Assisting in debt collection and collecting the payments when need be from the clients
  • A Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in sales and marketing preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Relevant Post Graduate qualification
  • Knowledge in hospitality operations or services will be an added advantage
  • Should be a results-driven individual who is able and willing to go an extra mile to get the job done
  • Good leadership, delegation, and management skills
  • Customer focus – to recognize both internal and external customer's needs and balances available resources and skills to strive to exceed them
