HR Assistants Jobs in Mombasa, Kenya

Do you have good experience in MANUFACTURING OR LOGISTICS INDUSTRY and would want to try out new challenges in a rewarding fast growing Logistics Company? 

If your answer is yes, we are currently looking for qualified candidates with good experience in Manufacturing industry or Supply Chain Solutions to fill the below vacant positions in Mombasa Offices.
 
Human Resource Assistant 

 
(2 Positions, Mombasa)
 
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in the Implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the management of staff leave and offs.
  • Support the staff recruitment process by assisting in preparation of interview schedules, contacting applicants for scheduled interviews and carrying out reference checks for potential hires.
  • Support with the orientation and onboarding of new team members.
  • Advise management accordingly on HR matters and ensure compliance with all applicable employment related laws and regulations.
  • Oversee HR planning and manage all related HR costs.
  • Maintaining personnel files for all staff while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Manage the staff welfare programs and schemes.
  • Assist in implementing safety requirements and programs.
  • Assist in Coordinating of all staff training and development activities.
  • Support line managers in performance management processes.
  • Assist in the management of disciplinary related matters and staff grievances.
  • Prepare and submit timely HR reports to management.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time.
Requirements & Skills
  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources (HR) or related.
  • At least 3 years continuous HR experience in a busy Logistics or Manufacturing environment.
  • HR generalist skills preferred.
  • IHRM Member
  • Good understanding of Kenya Labour Laws and Acts affecting Human Resource management
  • Possess excellent computer, Ms. office and HRMIS skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Self-driven with people skills
  • Mature and organized with excellent planning skills
