In pursuit of our ambitious growth plan, we are looking to fill the position below in our HR & Administration Department.
Human Resources Officer - Tanzania
Job Purpose: Overall purpose is to assist with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources function within the department and plays a supportive role to the other departments within Resolution Insurance so as to achieve company’s goals.
The individual will be expected to demonstrate commitment and loyalty and perform all duties in accordance with the organization’s office routines and procedures, keeping in mind the overall business objectives.
Key Responsibility Areas:
  1. Maintain company staffing requirements by coordinating recruiting, selecting, and orienting new staff for the Company
  2. Manage the Organizational Development & Training function and develop Employee training programs
  3. Generate accurate and timely HR reports and ensure proper management of all HR data
  4. Manage the identification and analyses of staff training, development and career support needs
  5. Monitor and ensure statutory compliance with all applicable labour laws within Tanzania
  6. Coordination of recruitment, selection, staff induction, benefits and welfare administration
  7. Coordinating training/teambuilding and staff welfare;
  8. Undertake all new employee qualification verification checks.
  9. Assists with the preparation of the performance review process
Required Qualifications, Knowledge, Skill and Ability
  • A higher diploma in HRM with a Bachelor’s degree being an added advantage
  • 3 years’ experience preferably in the service industry
  • Knowledge of Tanzania Labour laws
  • Effective verbal, listening, communication and time management skills
  • Ability to keep information confidential
  • Good computer and typing skills
  • Good interpersonal and Leadership skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good Problem solving skills and highly analytical
