Dafabet Kenya Head of Marketing Job in Nairobi

Our client, Dafabet Kenya (www.dafabet.co.ke),  is Africa's leading online betting site and home to some of the best gaming products on the web that includes best odds, cash-out, instant pay-outs, live streaming and wide array of other gaming products.
They are seeking to recruit a motivated and self-driven professional to fill in the following position in their Nairobi office:
Head of Marketing
The Head of Marketing will be responsible for planning, developing and implementing Dafabet’s marketing strategies, communications, and campaigns both external and internal.  

He/she will be required to look after the image, brand and companies standing within the market place and identifying opportunities to launch new products or enter new markets
The incumbent will be expected to execute and manage advertising programs to meet the overall marketing objectives, including brand awareness, customer acquisition and retention, and cross-selling / upselling.
The position will be reporting to the General Manager.
Principal Accountabilities:
  • Developing and implementing the brand strategy and marketing strategy respectively for new and existing products through campaigns, events and digital marketing
  • Ensuring 3rd parties meet their KPIs where marketing deliverables are concerned and recruiting, training, appraising, supervising, supporting, developing and promoting junior members of the team
  • Working in close partnership with the Senior Management Team to identify potential new business opportunities
  • Managing relationships with sponsorship partners e.g. football teams and other 3rd parties
  • Providing project management skills to ensure delivery on time, as well as quality and consistency of delivery
  • Creating, managing and implementing plans to increasing revenue and marketing plan for current and future years by undertaking continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends
  • Driving the development of integrated marketing plans, including the identification of target audiences and the crafting of messaging frameworks
  • Developing short and long-term plans and budgets for marketing & communications, monitoring progress, assuring adherence and evaluating performance and providing recommendations to the senior management
  • Developing and delivering marketing and communications strategies for the organization
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Marketing or any related field, Master’s degree will be an added advantage
  • 7 – 10 years’ experience in marketing with at least 5 years in senior management
  • Proven team leadership skills
  • Project Management skills
  • Ability to implement innovative solutions to business challenges and operational issues
  • Strong organizational skills and implementation strategies
  • Strong analytical skills
