Insurance Brokerage Manager

Vacancy: Manager - Insurance Brokerage
An exciting opportunity with high potential for growth exists in a growing insurance brokerage business. 

The role holder will be responsible for oversight of the broking business at the head office and across several branches.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the formulation, planning, review and execution of business strategy.
  • Offer leadership to the broking team taking responsibility for business performance and delivery of overall set targets.
  • Preparation and implementation of insurance marketing strategy.
  • Provide training and mentorship to staff.
  • Ensure compliance with external and internal requirements.
  • Develop consistent high performance culture with high standards of customer service.
  • Continuously engage clients to promote product knowledge and consumer awareness.
  • Leverage partners’ marketing initiatives to harness growth opportunities
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • A University degree in business or related course.
  • A minimum of an AIIK Diploma post graduate qualification.
  • At least 5 years relevant working experience in the insurance industry preferably within an intermediary.
  • Proven track record of excellence in achieving insurance sales targets.
  • Strong and confident team leader with strong interpersonal and persuasive skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with strong business acumen.
  • Decisive, reliable and assertive leader with high level of integrity.
